Thistlehorn the Holly Bearer
Thistlehorn carries himself with the quiet pride of someone entrusted with a very important Christmas task. Dressed in his holiday harness and crowned with holly, he lifts his head as though he’s just heard sleigh bells somewhere beyond the trees — calm, noble, and ready for whatever Christmas Eve may bring.
Handcrafted and hand-painted by Finch & Timber, Thistlehorn is built with dimensional layered elements that give his antlers, holly, harness, and body wonderful depth and presence. The separate layers cast natural shadows as the light changes, making him feel less like a flat decoration and more like a character who has stepped straight out of the Merry Noel story.

About This Piece
Craftsmanship & Details
Handcrafted for Merry Noel
Thistlehorn the Holly Bearer is an original Finch & Timber character, individually crafted and hand-painted with careful attention to expression, texture, color, and the details that give him his dignified Christmas personality.
His design incorporates dimensional layered construction, with individually crafted elements that create real depth and natural shadow throughout the piece. His antlers, holly accents, harness, and sculptural details give Thistlehorn a presence that cannot be fully appreciated from a straight-on photograph alone.
Because each piece is finished by hand, subtle variations in color, brushwork, texture, alignment, and finish are part of the character of the work. No two will be precisely identical.
