Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 30, 2026
Welcome to Finch & Timber. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of finchandtimber.com and purchases made from Finch & Timber LLC (“Finch & Timber,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Our Products
Finch & Timber creates handcrafted and hand-painted decorative artwork. Because our pieces are made and painted by hand, no two pieces will be exactly alike.
Variations in brushwork, color, shading, texture, wood grain, dimensions, construction, and other details are natural characteristics of handmade work and are not considered defects.
Product photographs are intended to accurately represent our work, but the piece you receive may differ slightly from the piece shown. Colors may also appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screens, and device settings.
Product Availability
Our artwork is produced in limited quantities and production capacity is limited.
Displaying a product on our website does not guarantee that it will remain available. We may limit quantities, temporarily suspend orders, discontinue products, or adjust availability as necessary.
Estimated production or fulfillment times are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Orders
Submitting an order through our website is an offer to purchase the selected products.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of product availability, pricing or website errors, suspected fraud, payment problems, licensing restrictions, or circumstances that prevent us from reasonably fulfilling the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.
Prices and Payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
The price charged for an order will generally be the price displayed when the order is submitted, except in the event of an obvious pricing or technical error.
Applicable sales tax will be calculated during checkout where required.
Payment is due when an order is placed unless another arrangement has been expressly agreed to by Finch & Timber.
Payments made through our website are processed through our third-party payment processor.
Handmade Variations
Purchasing handmade artwork means accepting reasonable variations from photographs, samples, and other Finch & Timber pieces.
Small differences in paint, finish, wood, construction, dimensions, positioning, texture, and appearance are part of the handmade nature of our products.
These natural variations do not make a product defective and are not grounds for a return or refund by themselves.
Outdoor Display and Care
Certain Finch & Timber pieces are designed and sealed for outdoor display. However, no wood product or exterior finish is permanently immune to weather, sunlight, moisture, temperature changes, or normal aging.
Customers are responsible for installing, displaying, securing, maintaining, and storing products appropriately.
For longest life, we recommend reasonable protection from prolonged severe weather and proper storage when the piece is not being displayed.
Normal weathering, fading, finish wear, wood movement, or deterioration resulting from exposure, improper installation, improper storage, misuse, neglect, or extraordinary weather conditions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Installation and Display
Some products may include or be compatible with stands, stakes, mounting hardware, or other display methods.
The customer is responsible for selecting a safe and appropriate location and ensuring that artwork and any associated hardware are properly installed and secured.
Finch & Timber is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper installation, insecure placement, misuse, severe weather, or use of a product in a manner for which it was not intended.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping availability, delivery methods, fulfillment expectations, damaged shipments, returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy.
Delivery dates provided by Finch & Timber or a carrier are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Once an order has been transferred to a shipping carrier, circumstances outside our control may affect delivery timing.
Returns and Refunds
Because Finch & Timber products are handcrafted and may be produced specifically to fulfill an order, returns and refunds may be subject to limitations.
Our current return, cancellation, damage, and refund rules are provided in our Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If an item arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us promptly and retain the product, packaging, and shipping materials.
We may request photographs or other information necessary to document the condition of the shipment and determine an appropriate resolution.
Specific requirements and timeframes will be stated in our Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Finch & Timber name, branding, website content, original photographs, written content, original artwork designs, and other original materials displayed on this website are owned by Finch & Timber or used with permission.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from Finch & Timber’s protected content without permission.
Certain products may incorporate trademarks, logos, names, or other intellectual property belonging to third parties. Those rights remain the property of their respective owners and are used by Finch & Timber only where authorized or licensed.
Collegiate Licensed Products
Certain Finch & Timber products may incorporate officially licensed collegiate marks.
The availability, design, sale, and distribution of such products may be subject to licensing requirements and restrictions imposed by the applicable university, licensing agency, or rights holder.
Nothing on this website grants a customer any ownership or license to reproduce collegiate trademarks or other protected marks appearing on a Finch & Timber product.

Governing Law
