The Lamb
Small, gentle, and quietly watchful, the Lamb brings a beautiful simplicity to the Nativity. Standing near the manger, this little figure feels perfectly at home among the shepherds and the Holy Family — an unassuming presence in a scene filled with extraordinary meaning.
Handcrafted and hand-painted by Finch & Timber, the Lamb is shaped by many patient hours of work, from the softness suggested in the wool to the delicate features of the face and the subtle changes of color and shadow throughout the piece. Though smaller than many of the Nativity figures, the same care and attention are given to every detail.
There is something especially fitting about a lamb at the manger — humble and innocent, yet carrying a significance that reaches far beyond the little figure itself.

About This Piece
Craftsmanship & Details
Handcrafted for the Nativity
The Lamb is an original Finch & Timber Nativity figure, individually handcrafted and hand-painted to complement the larger figures while bringing its own gentle character to the scene.
Careful attention is given to the Lamb’s expression, features, wool, and form. Subtle variations of color, highlight, shadow, and texture are painted by hand to create softness and dimension throughout the piece.
Although smaller in scale than the principal Nativity figures, the Lamb receives the same patient craftsmanship and detailed hand-finishing found throughout the collection.
Because each piece is individually handcrafted and hand-painted, variations in color, brushwork, texture, alignment, and finish are natural and expected. These differences are part of the character of the work, and no two will be precisely identical.
